Buona Via is an Italian restaurant specializing in fresh fish and seafood
while still offering a well rounded menu with meats and pastas and fresh daily lunch and dinner specials. 
With a full bar and bar area, happy hour is a great time to come in for a cocktail, glass of wine, or craft beer.
The upper level offers two private rooms. The smaller intimate room is perfect for business luncheons or family occasions with seating for 10-18 people. The larger private room seats 20-55 people ideal for dinner parties, showers, and special events while offering access to our veranda.
The main dining room on the first level seats up to 110 guests and can be used for private parties and/or regular seating.
Sunday Brunch every week from 10:30am-2pm and displays an amazing buffet.
Monday through Friday there is a Salad Bar that is wonderful.
 

Chef David Marques
Chef David Marques graduated from The Restaurant School at the Walnut Hill College in 1991 studying the culinary arts.
He started his career at Dante & Luigi's and The Striped Bass of Philadelphia, along with Isola Bella and La Padella of northeast Philadelphia. 
He later moved to his parents' home country of Portugal, where he had his own restaurant for four years. Upon returning stateside, he started working at Ristorante Mediterraneo (also owned by owner Salvatore Carratta from 1992-2007), further refining his skill in fresh fish and seafood. 
David's great skill in fine cuisine and kitchen management earned him the position as Executive Chef at Buona Via since 2008.
Chef David's specialties are whole fish and creating recipes with a perfect balance of innovative and traditional. Every dish and recipe created by David is made with great detail and refinement. His dishes have often been coined as "so tasty and extremely delicious!".

Owner Salvatore Carrata
Owner Salvatore Carratta: Salvatore Carratta was 25 years old when he left his home in the aptly named "beautiful city" of Gallipoli, Italy, for the promise of America.
He started working in hospitality aboard cruise ships before settling in Philadelphia, where he worked in the kitchens and dining rooms of the region's most respected Italian restaurants such as Gaetano's and the Monte Carlo Living Room.
His experience in these dining establishments helped him refine the already formidable skills he gleaned while growing up in a fisherman's town in coastal southernmost Italy. 
His first restaurant, Ristorante Mediterraneo, opened just doen the street from Buona Via in 1992 until 2007, then opening Buona Via in October of 2007.
Thirty years later, as co-owner of Buona Via in Horsham, Salvatore continues to play a hand in serving authentic Italian delights and charming those living in the Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery County area. 
General Manager Aprile Marques


 
 
Aprile started working as a bus girl at the ripe age of 15 at her family’s first restaurant, Ristorante Mediterraneo, in 1992. She worked year round during her high school years and more intensely over her summer breaks. Over these couple of years Aprile worked her way up in the business, by becoming a hostess, then a server; all the while, progressively refining her customer service skills.
After high school, Aprile then attended Philadelphia University from 1994 thru 1998. She double majored in Graphic Design and Communication, graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree. 
In 2002 Aprile and her mom Patsy opened a clothing boutique named Aprile Style in Newtown, PA. After six years of prosperous business, this now experienced business owner was ready to start a new chapter in her career. The family business was now opening their new restaurant, Buona Via, with Aprile as their General Manager.
During the construction, Aprile had a prominent role in the interior design. Her vision of modern Tuscany is reflected in everything from the impressive limestone tile flooring to the tangerine linens and cypress green accents.
While finishing the construction and design of Buona Via, Aprile began establishing and organizing the restaurant by developing bar and dining concepts, as well as implementing an overall conceptual vision.
Since the restaurant’s opening in 2007, Aprile’s dedication and creative vision has continued to support the growth and success of Buona Via.
